Nelson Sitonik

Nelson Sitonik is a Senior Partner and Head of the Litigation Department at Ndegwa & Sitonik Advocates, specialising in Employment Law, Labour Relations, and Immigration Law. He has 14 years of experience heading the Employment, Labour Relations and Immigration Department, effectively defending clients in courts, arbitrations, and other tribunals on matters arising from employment, labour relations including trade disputes with Trade Unions, and immigration issues. He is also deeply involved in litigation arising from commercial contracts.

He serves as a Lecturer in Law in the Department of Public Law at the University of Nairobi. He has published articles on the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement system and procedural reforms for developing countries. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, and is currently undertaking a PhD research study at the University of Nairobi on the WTO Dispute Settlement System. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner of Oaths, Notary Public, and a certified Mediator and Arbitrator.
