Kamami Christine Michira

Kamami Christine Michira is a Partner at IKM Advocates, specialising in banking and finance law, capital markets, and fintech regulation. She provides legal counsel across the entire finance spectrum, including secured and unsecured bank financing, tier two financing for financial institutions, trade finance, asset and invoice financing, commercial paper, and debt and equity capital markets.

Christine advises banks, insurers, and fund managers on product development and regulatory matters, and advises listed companies on regulatory compliance. In recent years, she has provided advice on digital lending, payment systems, money transfer, e-money, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain to fintechs, digital lenders, and payment services providers. Her clients are local and international and include banks, insurers, fund managers, and development finance institutions.

Christine holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi and an LL.M from the University of Aberdeen. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
