Charles Omondi Oyeng'

Charles Omondi Oyeng' is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation Practice at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and maritime law. He has experience across a broad range of contentious matters, including judicial review, debt recovery, shipping and maritime law, insolvency, alternative dispute resolution, and employment law.

Charles has advised a multinational organisation on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Kenya against a company under administration; a multinational mining company on the redundancy process in Kenya; and a foreign client on the viability of sustaining an in rem claim against a debtor's vessel. He has also acted for a multinational bank in a debt recovery dispute involving charged property, and for a multinational infrastructure firm in mediation proceedings in Kenya.

Charles holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and is fluent in English and Kiswahili.
