Cynthia Waithira

Cynthia Waithira is an Associate in the Real Estate and Construction team at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in real estate law and property development. She advises on real estate transactions including acquisition and sale of property, residential and commercial project development matters, and due diligence exercises on corporate commercial aspects.

Cynthia has acted for CPS Africa in connection with the development of Fumba Town, Zanzibar's first-ever mixed-use development, and the Soul Paje, Zanzibar's first modern residential resort; Maiyan Development in connection with the sale of residential plots and luxury villas in Nanyuki; Centum in connection with the development of Riverbank Apartments in Two Rivers; Tatu City Tower 1 Development on the sale of apartments in Jabali Towers; Mi Vida Thika Road on the sale of rental housing units to International Housing Solutions; and TRIFIC North Tower Company on the leasing of units to SEZ-licensed companies at the first privately-owned business services SEZ in Kenya. She has also acted for various commercial and retail property developers including CBRE and Soma Properties on lease agreements.

Cynthia holds an LL.B from the University of Leeds (2020), an LL.M in General Legal Studies from the University of Bristol (2021), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2023). She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
