Ken Ashimosi

Ken Ashimosi is the Managing Partner of MAK & Partners Advocates and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, with over a decade of distinguished practice. He specialises in real estate law, construction law, banking and finance law, and commercial transactions and advisory.

Before founding MAK & Partners Advocates, Ken was a well‑known Partner at Ashitiva Advocates LLP, where he headed the Conveyancing and Commercial Law Department for 10 years. He has advised and structured complex real estate projects from inception through construction to eventual sale, utilising joint ventures, equity ventures, and special purpose vehicles (SPVs). He has contributed to national legal reforms, having been appointed as a member of the Ardhisasa Technical Committee, representing the Law Society of Kenya in the improvement of the National Land Information Management System (NLIMS), and served on the Technical Committee appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Lands to draft conversion manual guidelines for transitioning old title deeds into the current regime under the Land Registration (Registration Units) Order 2017.

Ken holds an LL.B from Moi University and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the East Africa Law Society (EALS).
