Mahnaaz Dormohamed

Mahnaaz Dormohamed is an Associate at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna LLP in Mombasa, specialising in real estate law, banking and finance law, and private client advisory. She has experience in succession and probate disputes, property acquisitions and disposals, trust structuring, and the perfection of security documents for financing facilities.

Mahnaaz has drafted and reviewed trust deeds and estate planning instruments for high‑net‑worth clients, including structuring family trusts to hold and manage assets. She has handled probate-related matters, including cross‑border administration of estates, and has advised local and international clients on setting up charitable trusts and operations in Kenya. She has also conducted legal due diligence on property and company records in connection with acquisitions and financing transactions, acted for individuals and developers on real estate and property development projects, and advised various banks on the perfection of security documents. She is currently pursuing an LL.M at the University of Nairobi, focusing on children's rights, gender justice, and the balance between constitutional equality and personal law.

Mahnaaz holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2024. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
