Stephen Njiru

Stephen Njiru is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, employment law, and land and property disputes. He has more than seven years of post‑qualification experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Stephen has been part of the team successfully representing a leading oil marketing company in Kenya in an admiralty cause worth US$95 million; representing a large retail company in a competition complaint; and representing a leading commercial bank on the appointment of an administrator and receivers, and subsequent insolvency proceedings where the bank is seeking to recover a debt of more than US$33 million from various entities. He also advises on civil, employment, land, and commercial matters across a broad range of sectors.

Stephen holds a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from the University of Nairobi (2014) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2016). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
