Caroline Jerobon Rotich

Caroline Jerobon Rotich is a seasoned Advocate with over 15 years of post‑admission experience and the Managing Partner of her firm. She specialises in corporate and commercial law, real estate, governance, and compliance, with extensive expertise in banking, structured finance, and multi‑million conveyancing transactions. She has represented both public and private clients in high‑stakes commercial transactions and has advised on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, as well as Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) transactions.

Previously, she practised with Kipkenda & Company Advocates, where she gained invaluable expertise in her areas of specialty. She has helped numerous clients establish governance structures and adopt best corporate governance practices, and provides compliance advisory services to start‑ups. Her expertise includes transactional advisory, legal documentation, and conducting legal due diligence. She is also a keen arbitrator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She currently serves on the Environment and Lands Liaison Committee of the Law Society of Kenya (Nairobi Branch).

Caroline holds an LL.M from the University of Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and an LL.B from Moi University, Kenya. She is a Practicing Certified Secretary (CS(K)), an accredited governance auditor, a Governance, Ethics, Risk, and Compliance expert, a registered Patent Agent at the Kenya Industrial Property Institute, an Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Commissioner for Oaths, and a Notary Public. She has completed additional training in Data Protection (CIPIT, Strathmore University), ESG, Senior Management, and Training of Trainers. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), the East Africa Law Society, the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
