Ciru Longden

Ciru Longden is Head of Knowledge Management and Learning at Bowmans Kenya in Nairobi, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and competition law. She oversees the firm's know‑how development, document automation, process improvement, and legal and industry tracking, as well as the training and development of lawyers and business services staff in the Nairobi office.

Before specialising as a knowledge management lawyer, Ciru was an M&A lawyer with a specialist focus on employment and competition law, advising clients on complex corporate transactions and regulatory matters. In her current role, she combines her legal expertise with a strategic approach to knowledge management, legal service improvement, and professional development across the firm.

Ciru holds an LL.M in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation (with Distinction) from the University of Warwick, an LL.B from the University of Sheffield, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She has also completed a Legislative Drafting Course at the Kenya School of Law and a Competition Economics Course at the University of Johannesburg.
