Fenan Estifanos

Fenan Estifanos is an Associate in the Projects and Infrastructure Department at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in infrastructure law, project finance, and energy law. She advises clients across a broad spectrum of projects within the infrastructure, energy, construction, and transport sectors.

Fenan has advised The East African Marine System (TEAMS) on the construction, operation, and maintenance of an under‑sea fibre optic cable providing telecommunications services between Kenya and the UAE; acted for Finnfund, Vestas Eastern Africa, and KIF, shareholders of the Lake Turkana Wind Power, on the transfer of their shares into the Climate Finance Partnership managed by BlackRock Group; advised an international ports operator on proposed port concessions in East Africa, including structuring and drafting concession and government agreements; and advised on the development of a hotel and residences project in Zanzibar, including management arrangements and unit sale schemes. She has also acted for Equity Group Holdings on its acquisition of certain assets and liabilities of Spire Bank, including drafting transaction documentation and obtaining regulatory approvals.

Fenan holds an LL.B from Strathmore Law School and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya). She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
