Hannah Wangari

Hannah Wangari is an Associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate Department at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specialising in real estate law, banking and finance, and corporate and commercial law. She joined the firm as a trainee lawyer in May 2022 and has since assisted in transactions involving real estate and land law, corporate restructuring, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Hannah has assisted in real estate transactions for various clients dealing with commercial, mixed-use, and residential developments, including conducting preliminary due diligence, drafting conveyancing documents, negotiating contractual terms, and attending to registration formalities. She has acted for a portfolio of exclusive camps in connection with the acquisition of business and assets from a company operating a lodge in Kenya. She has also assisted in corporate restructuring transactions, recordation of intellectual property matters, and advising a bank on compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2019.

Hannah holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi (2020), a Diploma of Law from the Kenya School of Law (2022), and is a Certified Public Accountant with KASNEB (2016). She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
