Adil Khawaja SC is a Partner at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specializing in Real Estate Law. He is a leading name in real estate, environmental and planning, and commercial litigation and dispute resolution, advising investors, high‑net‑worth clients, companies, and the Government of Kenya on complex commercial and residential land transactions.

Adil has advised on the development of Kenya's first grade "A" logistics and distribution Warehouse Park, eco‑conveyancing for clients in the tourism sector, complicated land control issues, company restructuring, and environmental policy matters for the Government. He has acted for an international construction company on a consideration swap for land in Tatu City, advised an investment company registered in the UAE on its acquisition of a minority stake in a Kenyan insurance company, and advised on the acquisition of a hospital facility in Eldoret worth US$25 million. He also served on the Government‑appointed Multi‑Sectoral Taskforce to inquire into forest resources management and logging activities in Kenya. He is an executive member of the Nairobi Arboretum Conservancy Community Forest Association and has served as a director on the National Environment Council and the Kenya Wildlife Service.

He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Sheffield (1993) and a Diploma of Law from the Kenya School of Law (1994). He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1995.
