Liza Chula

Liza Chula is an Associate in the Banking & Finance and Real Estate Practice at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in banking and finance law, real estate law, and property development. She has experience in a wide range of real estate and commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals of land, project financing, and security documentation for financial institutions.

Liza has advised Domino Investments Limited on the sale of 1,637 acres of land in Naivasha worth USD 7.6 million to subsidiaries of Agris and Granot International; Maisha Housing Limited on the purchase of 8.94 acres within Tilisi worth KES 330.8 million; and has advised on Kenyan land law matters in the operation of the Kwale Mineral Sands Operation, a Kenya Vision 2030 flagship mining project and the country's largest mineral sands mine. She has also advised several commercial banks, including Stanbic Bank, Ecobank Kenya, Prime Bank, and NCBA Bank Kenya, on the preparation and perfection of securities.

Liza holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Honors) from Strathmore University and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
