Marywinfred Mwangi

Marywinfred Mwangi is an Associate at ENS in Kenya, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. She advises clients on project finance and infrastructure, structured finance, corporate and commercial matters, private equity legal due diligence, contract review and negotiation, legal compliance audits, governance audits, conveyancing, and securitisation.

She also has experience in intellectual property law, including the registration, maintenance, and enforcement of intellectual property rights before the Registrar of Trade Marks, the Anti-Counterfeit Authority, the Industrial Property Tribunal, and the High Court. She has advised clients in the banking (commercial banks and SACCOS), pensions (pension schemes, trustees, and corporate trustees), insurance, and non‑profit sectors. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the International Trademark Association (INTA) Indigenous Rights Committee.

She holds an LL.B from Kenyatta University and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Mediator, and a registered Trade Mark and Patent Agent.
