Maeve Adhiambo

Maeve Adhiambo is an Associate at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, practicing in the Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate department, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. She has experience advising on corporate and commercial matters, M&A, real estate transactions, corporate restructuring, and legal opinions, and preparing various types of commercial contracts.

Maeve has advised a global agribusiness company based in Abu Dhabi on a public‑private partnership concession to develop up to 200,000 acres of land in Kenya. She has assisted in real estate transactions including due diligence, drafting conveyancing documents, and registration formalities. She has been involved in restructuring shareholding in two pharmaceutical companies, conducted red flag due diligence for debt investment clients, and assisted a major insurance company in challenging a decision of the Insurance Regulatory Authority and a multinational retailer in challenging a decision of the Competition Authority of Kenya. She also assists with immigration transactions.

She holds an LL.B from Kenyatta University (2021) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2022). She was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and SafeOnline Women Kenya.
