Mahesh Acharya

Mahesh Acharya is the Managing Partner and Head of ENS in Kenya, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, fintech, and intellectual property and data privacy. He advises clients on a wide range of cross‑border corporate and commercial matters, including internal reorganisations, joint venture arrangements, capital markets, privatisations, outsourcing transactions, share incentive schemes, and social entrepreneurship.

Mahesh has acted for clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, technology, media and telecommunications, hospitality, agriculture, manufacturing, education, health, and private equity. He is the 'go‑to' lawyer in Kenya on complex FinTech matters and sits on the boards of various regulated businesses. He also serves as an Advisory Council Member for the Innovative Law Club Africa, providing strategic guidance and collaborating on special projects.

Mahesh holds a BA and an LL.B from the University of Nagpur. He is a Certified Patent Agent with the Kenya Industrial Property Institute, a Commissioner for Oaths, and an Advocate and Notary Public of the High Court of Kenya.
