Makena Gachau

Makena Gachau is an Associate at ENS in Kenya, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. Her experience includes advising on domestic and cross‑border M&A, private equity investments, corporate reorganisations, and structuring of joint ventures.

Makena is also experienced in legal due diligence, business establishment, and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, and has advised clients across the infrastructure, technology, financial services, energy, and telecommunications sectors.

Makena holds an LL.B (Honours) from the University of Kent and an LL.M from University College London. She is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
