Marion Tatua

Marion Tatua is an Associate in the Corporate Services team at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in corporate governance and company secretarial services. She provides services relating to establishing legal entities, continuous compliance, managing restructuring and reorganisation, drafting governance policies and procedures, organising board and shareholder meetings, and stakeholder management.

Marion has assisted with the linking and regularisation of WPP Scangroup PLC and its subsidiaries; provided advisory on setting up a non‑profit entity in Kenya to LifeNet International; and managed incorporations and deregistrations of various companies. She oversees the implementation of governance frameworks and ensures regulatory compliance with the Capital Market Authority Regulations and the Companies Act 2015, managing timely filings and addressing compliance issues, while also facilitating board and shareholder meetings and documenting key discussions, decisions, and resolutions. Her clients span across fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG), cold storage, money lending services, technology, and agricultural sectors.

Marion holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from Kenyatta University, is a Certified Secretary (CS) from Star College of Management, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Administration from the Kenya School of Revenue.
