Wilson Mwihuri

Wilson Mwihuri is a Partner at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, practicing in the Litigation team, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He is also a member of the Banking and Finance, Employment, and Environment and Planning practice groups.

Wilson has experience in constitutional law, judicial review and administrative law, commercial litigation and arbitration, medical negligence law, defamation, and public procurement law. Notable matters include acting for a petitioner seeking a declaration that a departure prohibition was issued in violation of constitutional rights and seeking damages; representing a financial institution in a documents‑only arbitration pursuing arrears; acting for a major mall in defending a claim seeking more than Kshs. 20 million; representing a plaintiff seeking payment of US$13 million from a defaulting defendant; and acting for a Defendant in a suit concerning interest rate control during the pendency of facilities.

Wilson holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nairobi (2009) and a Diploma of Law from the Kenya School of Law (2010). He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2011. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2018).
