Mary Mwangi

Mary Mwangi is a Principal Associate in the Real Estate & Construction Department at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in real estate law and property development. She advises clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence, negotiating sale agreements, planning laws and user restrictions, and drafting commercial contracts such as joint venture agreements and installment sale agreements.

Mary has acted for Square Valley in connection with the development of 45 high‑end luxury apartments known as Silverdecks Apartments on Lower Kabete Road, reviewing share sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and drafting letters of offer and agreements for lease. She has also acted for Silverstone Apartments in connection with the construction of 135 medium‑cost apartments, reviewing construction contracts based on the Joint Building Council form, and managed legal transactions for office developments, including reviewing FIDIC Red Book contracts. She has further advised a client in connection with refinancing a mortgage portfolio by Absa Bank Kenya, including reviewing securities and advising on enforceability.

Mary holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi (2015) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2017). She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
