Andrew Warambo

Andrew Warambo is a Partner in the Tax Practice at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specialising in tax advisory law, cross‑border tax structuring, and tax dispute resolution. He has over 14 years of experience advising Kenyan and overseas-based clients across all sectors on complex Kenyan and international tax matters, with extensive expertise in both direct and indirect taxes.

Andrew has undertaken numerous tax compliance, advisory, and due diligence assignments in the East Africa region, commonly involving assisting new investors in setting up, acquiring, and managing their local operations in a tax-efficient manner. He has also assisted clients in resolving tax disputes with the Kenya Revenue Authority before the Tax Appeals Tribunal and the Kenyan courts. He currently sits on the Law Society of Kenya Tax Committee (2022–2024).

Andrew holds an LL.M in International Tax from the University of Melbourne (2015), an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) (2013), a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (2012), a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law (2010), and an LL.B from the University of Nairobi (2009).
