Florence Brazil

Florence Brazil is an Associate in the Commercial, Employment and IPT Practice Group at IKM Advocates, specialising in intellectual property law, employment law, and regulatory compliance. She advises on a wide range of commercial matters including employment, intellectual property, and information and communication technology.

Florence has been involved in advising clients on various options for setting up in Kenya, including limited liability companies, branches of foreign companies, companies limited by guarantee, and NGOs. She has also attended to various applications relating to intellectual property, including the registration and renewal of trademarks. She assists clients with the preparation and review of employment contracts and Human Resource Manuals and Policies, and regularly advises employers on termination options including summary dismissal and mutual separation. Additionally, she has advised clients on different aspects of data protection and telecommunications laws in Kenya.
