Duane Wekesa

Duane Wekesa is an Associate at ENS in Kenya, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate and commercial transactions, private equity, competition law, fintech, and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT). He advises clients on bancassurance, business establishment, corporate restructurings, fintech services, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, and technology, media and telecommunications matters.

He has experience advising local and international clients in the agribusiness, financial services, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, and transport and logistics sectors. He is also experienced in data privacy, energy, intellectual property, and sovereign bonds, and has advised on cross‑border M&A and private equity transactions.

He holds an LL.B (Honours) from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the International Bar Association.
