Najmah Khan

Najmah Khan is an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and employment law. She has experience in a wide range of employment, corporate commercial, and M&A matters, advising both local and international clients across multiple sectors.

Najmah has advised Zami Global Flower Sourcing Africa on a subscription and shareholders' agreement; Enterprise Projects Ventures on a convertible loan; a Kenyan telecommunications client on a subscription transaction by a leading international communications company; and a manufacturer of energy saving equipment on a subscription transaction by an international investor. In the employment space, she has advised the Embassy of Sweden on employment contracts and policies, BigCold Kenya on trade union agreements, a Botswana-based client on the separation of a C-suite executive, ENI Kenya on revamping its employee handbook, and Shimizu Corporation on termination of an employment relationship. She has also delivered presentations on Kenyan employment law to IBL Limited, reviewed employee policies for Afya Research Africa, and advised on redundancy programs, disciplinary procedures, and mutual separation agreements.

Najmah holds an LL.B from Northumbria University and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
