Njeri Maina

Njeri Maina is a Senior Associate in the Finance, Real Estate and Construction Department at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in real estate law, commercial property transactions, construction law, and property finance. She advises clients on a wide range of real estate and construction matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development, and financing of commercial and industrial properties.

Njeri has acted for Grit Real Estate Income Group on the purchase and leaseback of a pharmaceutical logistics facility and the purchase of a manufacturing facility from Stellar Warehousing; for Tatu City Limited on various industrial property transactions, including sales to Crown Solutions, Cold Solutions, and Kenya Wine Agencies; for Ideal Locations Limited on leases for commercial premises in City Mall Mombasa; for Freight Forwarders Solutions on a 10-year lease of Kenya's largest warehousing complex at Africa Logistics Park; for Sunbird Services Kenya on the lease of three floors at Riverside Square for co-working office spaces; and for the Kenya Power and Lighting Company Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme on the sale of 45 high-end town houses. She has also acted for Stanbic Bank Kenya on financing transactions, for Lendable Asset Management on a secured facility to Watu Credit, and for Huawei Technologies on the construction of the Africa Data Centre.

Njeri holds an LL.B, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, a Diploma in Business Management, and is a Certified Public Secretary.
