Yvonne Ntabo

Yvonne Ntabo is an Associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate Department at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specialising in corporate law, real estate law, and regulatory compliance. She advises clients on a wide range of matters, including real estate projects and transactions, corporate due diligence, banking and finance, employment, business set‑up, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and legal and regulatory compliance.

Yvonne has advised a maritime company on its local business set‑up and restructuring, including the incorporation of Kenyan and UAE entities and the acquisition of shares by the UAE entity; a multinational mobility manufacturer on the establishment of its Kenyan subsidiary; an investor on a proposed debt investment in a Kenyan company, including due diligence and transaction documentation; and various clients on property due diligence and real estate transactions. She has also represented a client in a landmark case before the Environment and Land Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court challenging the legality of approvals for high‑rise developments in Nairobi, and advised on a dispute concerning ownership of a high‑end commercial building in Nairobi.

Yvonne holds an LL.B and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She has previously volunteered at Katiba Institute.
