Adan Kulula

Adan Kulula is an Associate at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He has experience in commercial litigation, election disputes, domestic and international arbitration, and defamation and media law.

Adan has been part of teams representing majority shareholders in a dispute over management and control of an insurance company, which was resolved by arbitration in favour of the shareholders; acting for a commercial bank in a case seeking to prevent the exercise of statutory power of sale where the outstanding amount is over Kshs. 400 million; successfully acting for an IT service company against the Government of Kenya in an arbitration over breach of contract valued at US$28 million; and acting for a company operating an electricity transmission and distribution system in Kenya in an arbitration valued at over US$57 million. He has also acted for a coffee miller in a case against a statutory body for breach of statutory authority.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi (2019) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2021). He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2021 and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
