Humphrey Ngari

Humphrey Ngari is an Associate in the Corporate team at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, competition law, corporate governance, employment law, and data protection. He advises clients across an array of sectors, including healthcare, technology, and manufacturing, on corporate and commercial matters, regulatory compliance, and multi‑jurisdictional transactions.

Humphrey has advised Moniepoint Inc. on the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of KopoKopo, including conducting legal and regulatory due diligence, reviewing the merger agreement, and obtaining approvals from the Competition Authority of Kenya. He has also advised various clients on M&A due diligence exercises, competition law issues related to mergers and restrictive trade practices, regulatory approvals from the Competition Authority of Kenya, compliance requirements under the Data Protection Act, and employment matters including redundancy, unlawful deduction of wages, consultancies, and terminations.

Humphrey holds an LL.B from Strathmore University (2022) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2024). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
