Nabila Mohamed

Nabila Mohamed is an Associate in the Corporate Department at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, competition law, and corporate and commercial law. She advises clients on complex corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and capital markets matters across a range of sectors.

Nabila has acted for Amsons Industries Kenya on its public takeover and acquisition of 100% of Bamburi Cement, a leading cement and concrete producer in Eastern Africa; advised an insurance broker on the sale of shares to a leading UK insurance company; and advised a Japanese company on its investment in a mining project in Kenya. She has also advised a UK-based company on competition implications of a proposed restructuring, a UAE-based company on competition filings for the acquisition of shares in a Kenyan financial institution, and acted as lead counsel for a global logistics company on the introduction of a sustainable shipping option in Sub-Saharan Africa and for a US-based financing organisation on the regional implementation of its global policies.

Nabila holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Bristol (2018) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2023). She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
