Ivy Aruasa

Ivy Aruasa is a Corporate Commercial Associate at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, employment law, and data protection advisory. She advises clients across diverse sectors on complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.

Ivy has trained the Board of Directors of Kakuzi on corporate governance requirements for listed companies under the Corporate Governance Practices for Issuers of Securities to the Public, 2015, and has trained the Board of Directors of Stanbic Bank on corporate governance, insurance, capital markets, and asset management. She has advised a flower company on workplace investigations and employment law compliance, conducted due diligence and prepared transaction documents for share and asset purchases, advised clients on regulatory compliance and contractual arrangements, and reviewed HR manuals to ensure compliance with employment laws in Kenya. She also advises NGOs on tax, legal, and regulatory matters relating to the transfer of their businesses to other legal entities.

Ivy holds an LL.B (First Class Honours) from Strathmore University and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2024. She is a certified mediator and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
