Marion Irungu

Marion Irungu is an Associate in the Tax Practice Group at IKM Advocates, specialising in tax law, tax advisory, and tax dispute resolution. She advises clients on the full range of tax law matters, including tax advisory, audits, and disputes before the Tax Appeals Tribunal and superior courts.

Marion regularly assists clients in responding to tax assessments issued by the Kenya Revenue Authority, provides guidance on the tax implications of business structuring, and supports mergers and acquisitions through tax due diligence. She also advises on compliance and registration for charitable organisations, financial institutions, and corporates operating across multiple jurisdictions.

In addition to her core tax practice, Marion has experience in regulatory compliance and commercial law, often working as part of cross‑functional teams providing strategic legal solutions to clients in the banking, development, and social enterprise sectors.
