Maryanne Njeri

Maryanne Njeri is an Associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate Department at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specialising in banking and finance, corporate and commercial law, and real estate law. She has experience in secured and unsecured financing for local and cross-border parties, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and the preparation of commercial contracts.

Maryanne has acted as local law legal adviser to an international lender advancing facilities to Mauritian entities with subsidiaries in Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe for solar systems across Africa; as Kenyan law lead counsel to a local bank and a DRC-affiliated bank in a US$150 million syndicated project financing facility for the construction of an integrated cement plant in DRC; and for a Kenyan textile manufacturing company on a US$30 million facility from international lenders for working capital. She also assisted a leading tier one commercial bank in Kenya in overhauling its entire suite of loan and security documentation templates to align with the evolving legal framework.

Maryanne holds an LL.B from Mount Kenya University (2017) and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
