Sigee Koech

Sigee Koech is the Managing Partner and Head of the Banking and Finance team at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. She has over a decade of experience in general finance, structured real estate financing, debt restructuring, and trade finance, and has been the lead advisor on numerous project finance transactions, particularly those involving infrastructure projects initiated by the Government of Kenya.

Sigee represents both Kenyan and international lenders and corporate borrowers, and she is recognized as a leading lawyer in Kenya's banking and finance sector by international legal directories including The Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and IFLR1000. She was also named one of the top 50 corporate lawyers in Kenya by the Nairobi Legal Awards Trust for 2024.

She holds an LL.B (Hons) from Moi University (2008), a Diploma of Law from the Kenya School of Law (2009), and an LL.M from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2011). She was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2012.

Sigee sits on the board of the Kenya Development Corporation and the KCB Foundation. She has previously served on the board of Kenya Hotel Properties Limited and the Inclusion Advisory Council at Dentons.
