Miriam Tatu

Miriam Tatu is a Senior Associate at ENS in Kenya, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. She advises international and local banks, development financial institutions, and multilateral institutions on syndicated lending, structured finance, project finance, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and property acquisition, disposal, and development.

She has acted for clients across a variety of sectors, providing strategic legal counsel on complex financing arrangements and regulatory compliance matters. She is recognised as a Rising Star in Banking and Finance and Projects by IFLR1000 (2025) and is ranked in The Legal 500 EMEA for Banking and Finance and Privatisation and Projects (2025‑2026).

Miriam holds an LL.B (Honours) from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is a Certified Professional Mediator (Mediation Training Institute International East Africa) and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
