Storm Thiaka

Storm Thiaka is an Associate at Bowmans in Nairobi, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and regulatory compliance. He has provided essential support to local and international clients across diverse sectors, contributing to complex transactions, group restructurings, market entry strategies, and high‑profile M&A deals.

Storm has advised on the restructuring of a large building and construction company; an investment fund management company on capital markets compliance requirements; various international clients on setting up businesses in Kenya; charitable organisations on registration options for greater regional impact; and on the structuring and listing of a Real Estate Investment Trust. He has also conducted due diligence on companies across various sectors, drafted and reviewed transaction documents including Business and Assets Transfer Agreements and Share Purchase Agreements, and advised on merger control in relation to an investment in a Kenyan telecommunications company.
